A symbol set of icons for bioluminescent sea creatures. This project started with sketching and studying the form of each creature. Once I found the same angle for each creature to be drawn, the sketches were then stylized in order to reflect the creatures characteristics and personalities. Next, gridding and logic was applied by using the same circular shapes to create the forms. The icon set was then applied to an aquarium exhibit called BIOLUM. I created entrance tickets, way finding signs, and exhibit signs each featuring the icon set.
