Design Proposal: Sprout is a lifestyle magazine focused on gardening. The articles are directed towards a beginner audience focusing on tips and tricks to growing successful gardens. The title of the magazine is sprout which helps to convey the idea of a starting point through one of the beginning stages of growth. The beginner audience won’t feel overwhelmed or intimidated by the idea of complicated gardens, keeping the content and layout very clean and simple. The magazine will be modern with earthy tones. The wordmark will convey growth and beginning, to set the tone of the magazine. The wordmark will be in all lowercase letters to help convey the possibility of growth. It will also be manipulated to look like it has life.
