As a volunteer for Ohio Alleycat Resource & Spay/Neuter clinic (OAR), I often get to spend a lot of time with the cats in their care. I wanted to create a photo book in order to raise awareness for the shelter and to help them gain exposure so the cats could find forever homes. OAR is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Their mission is to enrich the lives of cats and communities in Greater Cincinnati by providing low-cost, high-quality spay/neuter services for ferals, strays and pets; offering TNR (trap-neuter-return) and other outreach programs; and running a no-kill adoption center dedicated to finding loving homes. Once the book was created, the photographs were donated to the shelter for their use in adoption profiles, website descriptions and volunteer flyers.
